Mr. Caldwell is currently the Executive Director of IBSS and the President of Caldwell Security Associates (CSA); a management-consulting firm comprised of a group of the Security Industry's most recognized Subject Matter Experts (SME). IBSS draws upon the CSA associates and their extensive skill sets, vast experience and collective body of knowledge to provide clients with highly effective and unique solutions to problems.

Mr. Caldwell engages in a wide range of Security Industry activities. One of 3000 security practitioners worldwide to have earned the designation Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Mr. Caldwell is one of the most widely recognized generalists in the Security Industry.

He is on several national speakers lists and a frequent speaker and well-known workshop leader. He has developed and delivered educational seminars and authored courses for Industry for more than two decades. As a consequence, he owns the rights to more than 20 training programs. As an independent Security Consultant to both the public and private sectors, he has provided educational resources and training for over 1,200 companies and various agencies of the government. He serves as an SME, instructor, course developer, and curriculum advisor to the GSA Training Institute where he has been acknowledged and certified as an authority and competent instructor qualified to teach all components of their Security Curriculum. He is widely recognized by both the Security and Safety Industries as an SME and educator.

Mr. Caldwell frequently writes for, contributes to, and has been quoted by numerous security-related publications. He has authored books, lectured and conducted training seminars on a wide variety of Security Related topics. He currently serves as technical editor and/or a member of the editorial advisory boards of Security Design and Technology (ST&D), Protective Operations, and Security and Loss Prevention Magazines.

He has been featured in the Who's Who Worldwide Registry four times and is currently featured in the Sterling Edition, which is updated every ten years.

Mr. Caldwell is the founder of the Society for Computer Information Protection (SCIP), a computer security trade organization.

Over the course of his long and distinquished career, Mr. Caldwell is noted to have worked with 456 of the fortune 500 companies.

As a recognized subject manner expert (SME), Mr. Caldwell is often invited to take an active role or otherwise participate in special industry or U.S. Agency projects, ie, CIP, NTIA, NSTAG, NRIC, CISWG, and Homeland Security. Others upon request.
